Comments |
Animals were immunized with bovine lymphocytes and thymocytes. Spleen cells were fused with NS1 myeloma cells. The antibody is specific for the 50000 dalton bovine CD4 molecule. The CD4 antigen is expressed on T cells that are CD2 positive and bear the gamma/delta T cell receptor. This antibody was included in the panel of the International Workshop on Bovine, Sheep and Goat Leukocyte Differentiation Antigens in 1989 and 1992. |
