The antibody defines an antigen on mouse B cells that is expressed on pre B cells and mature B cells.
The antibody is NOT cytotoxic and precipitates molecules with apparent molecular weights between 95000 and 105000 daltons.
The Lyb 8.2 antigen expression is controlled by a locus on chromosome 7 that is closely linked to the Gpi-1 and RP-2 loci.
Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
