Growth of DDT1-MF-2 cells is stimulated by androgens and inhibited by glucocorticoids. Glucocorticoids inhibit the expression of the c-sis (SIS) proto-oncogene. Beta-2-adrenergic (beta 2 adrenergic) receptor activity is functionally coupled to adenyl cyclase. This a deposit of DDT1-MF-2 (see ATCC CRL-1701) for patent purposes. |
Subculturing |
To dislodge adherent cells, remove all but 5 to 10 mL of medium and vigorously shake flask. Add fresh medium, aspirate and dispense into new flasks. Subcultures may also be prepared using standard trypsinization procedures.
Subcultivation Ratio: A subcultivation ratio of 1:20 is recommended
Medium Renewal: 2 to 3 times per week |
