Animals were immunized with Wheat Germ Agglutinin bound fraction of a placental membrane extract. Spleen cells were fused with NS0 myeloma cells. The antibody reacts with carbohydrate moieties on the human insulin receptor. The antibody may cross-react with other cell surface glycoproteins. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
