Applications |
The antibody reacts with human IgG, gamma heavy chain, F(ab') and Fab fragments but not with Fc fragment or rabbit IgG. The antibody from this cell line was selected as a reference reagent of the WHO Collaborating Center at the Centers for Disease Control for Human Immunoglobulin Subclasses. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |

Animals were immunized with purified human myeloma protein. Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells. The antibody reacts with human IgG, gamma heavy chain, F(ab') and Fab fragments but not with Fc fragment or rabbit IgG. The reactivity is comparable to that of conventional rabbit anti human Fd reagents in radioimmunoassays for rheumatoid factor (RF). The antibody from this cell line was selected as a reference reagent of the WHO Collaborating Center at the Centers for Disease Control for Human Immunoglobulin Subclasses. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
