The antibody reacts with denatured beta chains of the b, d, p, q, j and bu haplotypes.
It does not detect the intact H-2b Class II molecule, and does not detect the beta chain on the cell surface.
It does not react with molecules of the k, f, and s haplotypes.
The reactive determinant is most likely involves residues 153 through 155.
Depositor recommends using low IgG serum. ATCC uses ultra-low IgG fetal bovine serum (Invitrogen catalog # 16250). |
