Biosafety Level |
1
Biosafety classification is based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their facilities comply with biosafety regulations for their own country. |
Applications |
The antibody reacts with most human IgM, lambda and some human IgM, kappa molecules. It also reacts with mu - surrogate light chain complexes, and provides a marker for pre-B and early B cell differentiation. |
Derivation |
Lymph node cells were fused with P3X63Ag8.653 myeloma cells. It does not react with isolated mu, lambda or kappa chains. |
Genes Expressed |
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against human IgM, lambda |
Cellular Products |
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against human IgM, lambda |
Comments |
Animals were immunized with a human IgM, kappa paraprotein (LP) which reacted with intermediate filaments. Lymph node cells were fused with P3X63Ag8.653 myeloma cells. The antibody reacts with most human IgM, lambda and some human IgM, kappa molecules. It appears to react with a conformational determinant expressed preferentially on IgM, lambda complexes. It also reacts with mu - surrogate light chain complexes, and provides a marker for pre-B and early B cell differentiation. It does not react with isolated mu, lambda or kappa chains. |
Complete Growth Medium |
Culture Medium: RPMI 1640 medium with 50 uM 2-mercaptoethanol, 90%; fetal bovine serum, 10%. |
