Biosafety classification is based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their facilities comply with biosafety regulations for their own country. |
Applications |
The antibody binds to the major immunogenic region of the alpha subunits, and cross-reacts well with acetylcholine receptors of a variety of species. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
Derivation |
Animals were immunized subcutaneously with purified, intact Electrophorus electricus acetylcholine receptor. Spleen cells were fused with S194 myeloma cells. |
Genes Expressed |
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against acetylcholine receptor (alpha subunit) |
Cellular Products |
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody; against acetylcholine receptor (alpha subunit) |
Comments |
Animals were immunized subcutaneously with purified, intact Electrophorus electricus acetylcholine receptor. Spleen cells were fused with S194 myeloma cells. The antibody binds to the major immunogenic region of the alpha subunits, and cross-reacts well with acetylcholine receptors of a variety of species. It can passively transfer experimental autoimmune myasthenia gravis. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
