Spleen cells from male MRL/1 mice (mice which normally produce antibodies to DNA) were fused with NS-1 myeloma cells. The antibody cross-reacts with double stranded DNA and polyinosinic-cytidylic acid (poly I-C). Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
