The antibody reacts with the fast IIa isoform of rodent skeletal muscle myosin. It cross-reacts with the IIx isoform, and does not react with the IIb isoform. |
Derivation |
Animals were immunized with partially purified human neonatal (5 days postpartum) skeletal muscle myosin heavy chain. Spleen cells were fused with P3X63Ag8.653 mouse myeloma cells. |
