Subculturing |
CRL-5840 cells grow as aggregates in suspension.
Cultures may lose viability when the aggregates are dispersed.
Cultures can be maintained by the addition of fresh medium. A split ratio of 1:2 to 1:4 should be used and the cell line is subcultured when there are numerous healthy appearing clusters present in suspension.
Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days
