Animals were immunized with an acid soluble extract of rat (Sprague-Dawley) intermediate lobes. Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells. The antibody is specific for NP-OT of rat and other species (murine, human, bovine) in both radioimmunoassays and immunohistochemical staining. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox). |
