Comments |
The cells express multiple T lineage markers. The cells are E - rosette negative and beta 2 microglobulin positive. The cells are negative for Leu 5 (CD2), sheep erythrocyte receptor, OKT 9 (CD71; transferrin receptor), surface immunoglobulin (sIg -), HLA DR, CALLA (CD10) and Tac (CD25). |
Complete Growth Medium |
The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated RPMI-1640 Medium, ATCC 30-2001. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum (ATCC 30-2020) to a final concentration of 10%.
|
Subculturing |
Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Establish new cultures at 3 x 105 viable cells/mL and maintain between 2 x105 and 2 x 106 cells/mL. Medium Renewal: 2 to 3 times per week |
