Disclosure |
This material is cited in a US or other Patent and may not be used to
infringe the claims. Depending on the wishes of the Depositor, ATCC may be
required to inform the Patent Depositor of the party to which the material was
furnished. This material may not have been produced or characterized by ATCC. |
Derivation |
This line is derivative of the WIL-2 cell line. |
Clinical Data |
male |
Comments |
Resistance to thioguanine (hprt locus), and resistance to ouabain (Na/K ATPase). |
Complete Growth Medium |
The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated RPMI-1640 Medium, ATCC 30-2001. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum (ATCC 30-2020) to a final concentration of 10%.
|
Subculturing |
Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Maintain the cell concentration between 2 X 105 and 1 X 106 cells/mL.
Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days (or as necessary to maintain the cell concentration between 2 X 105 and 1 X 106 cells/ml) |
