Comments |
Animals were immunized with recombinant human thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) receptor expressed in. E. coli. Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0 mouse myeloma cells. The antibody recognizes the C-terminal intracellular domain (amino acids domain 604-764), beta subunit of the human thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) receptor. It recognizes an intracellular epitope of the beta subunit anchored into the cellular membrane. The TSHR-R5T-34 (ATCC CRL-2683) antibody recognizes a N-terminal extracellular epitope of the beta subunit while the TSHR-T3-365 (ATCC CRL-2684) antibody recognizes a C-terminal intracellular subunit of the beta subunit. The antibodies can be used in Western Blot, ELISA, immunocytochemistry, and immunohistochemistry assays of the human TSH receptor. |
