Animals were immunized with human epidermal cells. Spleen cells were fused with P3-NSI/1-Ag4-1 myeloma cells. The antibody binds to a cell surface antigen present on and characteristic of human basal cells and malignant squamous cells. The antibody does not react with normal human fibroblasts, endothelial or hematopoietic cells. |
