Animals were immunized with the major protein peak (G-200 fractionation) of delipidated human high density lipoprotein (HDL). Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells. The antibody binds to an epitope in amino acids 126 through 191 on human ApoE. It is useful for detecting ApoE in immunoblotting applications. |
