Morphology
On PDA medium at 25°C after 7 days, mycelium creamy white to dark brown, velutinous with tufts of aerial hyphae. Reverse buff to dark brown. Hyphae hyaline, guttulate. Conidiophores simple and branched, verrucose, pale to hyaline at base becoming dark brown at apex. Phialides in whorls of 2-6. Conidia hyaline becoming dark brown with age, subglobose to broadly ellipsoidal, smooth, guttulate, 6.0-8.0 X 4.5-7.0 μm.
