Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): SalI--12.4; PstI--6.2, 4.8, 1.4; BamHI--12.4; HindIII--8.0, 4.4; EcoRI--6.0, 3.9, 2.5. Part of a phage walk taken with the original pERT145 clone. This is one of the most proximal pERT clones absent from the BB deletion. The RFLP-detecting clone is generated by double digestion of the insert with HindIII and EcoRI. The unique sequence fragments to be used for hybridization are the 500 bp doublet. The remaining fragments are slightly repeated. |
