Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--5.6; BglI--2.4, 2.2, 0.8, 0.3; BglI/PvuI--2.4, 1.7, 0.8, 0.5, 0.3; HincII--4.0, 1.2, 0.45; PstI--4.8, 1.0. The insert contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the 5' end): DraI--0.35, 0.36, 0.64; StyI--0.9. The insert begins at about nt 250 of the sequence record and extends through the 3' end. Encodes the carboxy terminal 2/3 of the protein, and includes the 3' untranslated region. |
