DNA: cDNA Insert lengths(kb): 2.734999895095825 Tissue: Daudi cell line Gene product: interferon (alpha, beta and omega) receptor 1(interferon, alpha; receptor) [IFNAR] Alleles: A3, A4, A5, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A1, A2 |

The insert includes a unique SmaI site in the 3' untranslated region, at nucleotide 1941 of the published sequence. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): HindIII--3.1, 1.9, 0.6; PstI--5.6; EcoRI--2.9, 2.7; BamHI--5.6. Assignment of the interferon alpha receptor gene to chromosome 21q22.1 was by in situ hybridization. The insert extends from bp 49 to 2784 of the published cDNA sequence. It thus does not include all the sequences present in 19ES (ATCC 65004, 65005). The insert includes the complete coding sequences (bp 79 - 1749) plus 5' and 3' untranslated regions. |
