Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--3.0, 1.9; PstI--4.0, 0.96; BamHI--4.2, 0.46, 0.37; PvuII--2.6, 1.75, 0.46, 0.28; HindIII--5.0. The insert contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the 5' end): PstI--0.91; BamHI--1.13, 1.56; PvuII--1.36, 1.82. The insert extends from nt 21 to the 3' end of the published sequence and includes 16 nt of the poly(A) tail. It does not include the 5' untranslated region or sequence encoding the first 5 aa. |
