Restriction digests analyzed on agarose gels give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--5.3; BamHI/EcoRI--4.3, 1.0; XhoI--5.5; PstI--3.7, 0.9, 0.8; EcoRI--5.5; XhoI--5.5. Includes part of intron 1 and exon 2; from approx 1188-2186 on Fig. 2, includes Pst I (2), XhoI, SmaI (2), SstI sites. Recorded as not polymorphic by Collaborative Research, meaning either not polymorphic in 0.8% agarose gels, or difficult to work with. |
