Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--5.4, 3.6, 0.6; BglII--9.4; PvuII--4.7, 2.6, 2.2; HindIII--9.4; EcoRI--5.9, 3.6. Maps within 350 kb of CA1. Insert begins 643 bp upstream of ATG and includes exon 1, intron 1, exon 2, and 125 nucleotides of intron 2. The TaqI polymorphism maps about 1 kb from the 5' end of the CA2 gene. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: EcoRI, XbaI, PstI, BglI, BamHI, AluI, HaeIII, HinfI, MboI, MspI. |
