Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--2.7, 2.07; BamHI--4.9; PstI--2.9, 1.16, 0.63; HindIII--4.9; AvaI--3.5, 0.87. The insert contains AvaII (6), KpnI (2), BglII (2), SmaI (1), PstI (2), and NheI (1) sites. This is not a full-length cDNA clone. On the 3' end it lacks the poly(A) tail, and it does not contain some of the 5' sequences found in pMP23 (ATCC 57692/57693). |
