Applications |
The monoclonal antibodies produced by these hybridomas will be new insights into how different domains in the integrin alpha and beta subunits may interact.

Derivation |
Mice (BALB/c) were immunized with purified Mac1 (CD11b/CD18). Spleen cells were fused with P3X63Ag8.653 (ATCC CRL-1580). |
Genes Expressed |
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody against
C-terminal epitope of human Mac-1 |
Cellular Products |
immunoglobulin; monoclonal antibody against
C-terminal epitope of human Mac-1

Comments |
Monoclonal antibodies from selected hybridomas recognized the Mac-1 alpha subunits on the surface of neutrophils. The monoclonal antibodies produced by these hybridomas will be new insights into how different domains in the integrin alpha and beta subunits may interact.

Complete Growth Medium |
The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 20%.
|
Subculturing |
Cultures can be maintained by addition of fresh medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 1 X 104) to 1 X 10(5) viable cells/ ml. Maintain cultures at a cell concentration between 2 X 10(5) and 1 X 10(6) cells/ml. |
Cryopreservation |
Freeze medium: Complete growth medium supplemented with 5% (v/v) DMSO Storage temperature: liquid nitrogen vapor phase |
