Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--2.65, 2.35; HindIII--5.2; PstI--5.2; BamHI--5.2; EcoRI/HindIII--2.65, 2.35; consistent with deposited DNA. The structure of this plasmid is not consistent with the published description of pMCOC14. The hybridization pattern of this probe with human DNA was not checked by the ATCC. Codominant segregation of the TaqI RFLP was observed in 27 three-generation families. |
