Comments |
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--3.4, 1.5; EcoRI--4.9; PstI--2.1, 1.55, 0.65, 0.4, <0.3; HindIII--3.1, 1.8; SstI--3.9, 0.6, 0.4. Contains the complete coding sequence (nt 76-612). The fragment excised by BamHI consists of the insert plus some vector sequence. The vector is modified from pcD, with a promoter constructed from the SV40 early promoter and the R segment and U5 sequence of the long terminal repeat of human T-cell leukemia virus type 1 (HTLV-1 LTR). |
