Comments |
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--5.2, 3.1; BstEII--8.4; SstI--7.6, 0.5; NotI--8.4; EcoRI--5.4, 2.6. Digestion with EcoRI produces fragments of 5.0 and 2.5 kb. Digestion with XhoI produces fragments of 4.1 and 3.4 kb. Bacteria may grow slowly due to the high plasmid copy number. Encodes a chimera in which the first epidermal growth factor-like domain was replaced with the mouse EGF sequence. |
